Richard Krumel

Richard (Rick) G. Krumel is a retired executive recruiter, having worked twenty years in that industry through 2015. He attained certification as both a Certified Behavioral Analyst and Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC). Rick served on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Association of Personnel Services for many years and in various capacities including its presidency. Previously, Rick worked in product and project management for US Government support contractors involved in secure telecommunications products, AC power generation, and engineering services. During this period of his career Rick attained certification as a Project Management Professional (PCP) and served on the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Chapter of the Project Management Institute as Vice President for Training.

Rick is a 1971 graduate of °µÍø½ûÇø and holds a BS degree in Telecommunications. Following his graduation from Kent and the U.S. Army R.O.T.C. program, Rick was commissioned as an Army Signal Corps officer and served on active duty until 1979. Rick also received an MBA with emphasis in government acquisition management and contracting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1980.

Rick is married to the former Jan DeLong (KSU Class of 1971) and they make their home on Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina.
