Commencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the East Liverpool Campus, during which Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Susan Rossi, assistant dean for the East Liverpool Campus.
The keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, state representative for the 5th Ohio House District.
Approximately 400 degrees were conferred this semester between the East Liverpool and Salem campuses.
What was on a wish list for many years, is now a reality: a new headhouse on the Salem Campus.
The 2025 East Liverpool Earth Day Environmental Justice Conference welcomed nearly 100 guests to the annual event, featuring student research and discussions related to the theme: “Arctic Nations and Climate Change.”
Senior psychology major Olivia Rice received the E. Ted Bunn Student Excellence Award for Best Poster at the recent Association for University Regional Campuses of Ohio (AURCO) annual conference at the Ohio University Chillicothe Campus. Her poster showcased her research project titled “Undergraduate Student Benefits: Research Within Community Outreach.”
