Commencement Ceremonies Held on Salem Campus

Caps and GownsCommencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the Salem Campus. Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Celeste Oprean, assistant dean for the Salem Campus.

Students speakers Devyn Rothbrust and Lisa KessegThe keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, State Representative for the 5th Ohio House District.

Student speakers included Lisa Kesseg of the Insurance Studies program and Devyn Rothbrust of the Horticulture program.

Nearly 400 degrees were awarded this semester between the Salem and East Liverpool campuses.All Smiles

Ted Bunn Student Excellence Award for Best Poster at the recent Association for University Regional Campuses of Ohio (AURCO) annual conference at the Ohio University Chillicothe Campus. Her poster showcased her research project titled “Undergraduate Student Benefits: Research Within Community Outreach.”
