Biography
Don-John Dugas studies Shakespeare, Tudor and Stuart drama, Theatre History, and the History of the Book. He is the author of Shakespeare for Everyman: Ben Greet in Early Twentieth-Century America (Society for Theatre Research) and Marketing the Bard: Shakespeare in Performance and Print, 1660–1740 (University of Missouri Press). He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards, including the Department of English’s Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring Award, the College of Sciences and Humanities’ Distinguished Teacher Award, Honors Education’s Distinguished Faculty Award, and the °µÍø½ûÇø Alumni Association’s Distinguished Teaching Award—the university’s highest teaching honor.
