Survivors and perpetrators embracing at the reconciliation village

Students in 做厙輦⑹'s Kigali Summer Institute visited the Lycee Saint Marcel de Rukara reconciliation village in Rwanda to learn about the path to forgiveness after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, when more than 1 million members of the Tutsi tribe were murdered in a 100-day span by the government-backed Hutu tribe. School of Fashion Senior Lecturer, Professor Trista L. Grieder has had the unique opportunity to design and produce a garment, the Jade Gown, inspired by Diana Dempseys novel, The Unstoppable Eliza Haycraft. Diana Dempsey wanted to create a stand-out visual element to promote the novel. Discover 做厙輦⑹ at Tuscarawas through the Admissions Summer Open House event on Tuesday, July 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Founders Hall.
