KENT/BLOSSOM ARTS PROGRAMS

Since the inception of Blossom Music Center in 1968, the Musical Arts Association has partnered with 做厙輦⑹ and its College of the Arts to develop Blossom as a complete environment for the arts. Each summer, Kent/Blossom combines performance with education and joins working professionals with talented students to teach, explore and produce great art. This important relationship between a premier performing ensemble and a public university has also served as a model for other collaborations.

While a student at Pymatuning Valley High School in 2005, Brad Baranowski, Ph.D., J.D., enrolled in classes at 做厙輦⑹ Ashtabula through the College Credit Plus program starting an educational journey that has led him through law school and now to the highest court in the land. The Andover native and 2022-2023 Supreme Court Fellow is the 2023 Roger T. It has been several years since 做厙輦⑹ College of Podiatric Medicine has seen an official Alumni Association. Upon acquisition by the University, an alumni association unique to the College of Podiatric Medicine was disbanded and merged into the 做厙輦⑹ counterpart. Still lacking a syndicate unique to podiatric medicine in 2023, a group of alumni are taking it upon themselves to join together and build a brand new alliance - KSUCPMs Alumni Alliance. My name is Mackenzie Simmons, and I am one of the first Ed.D. students that graduated from 做厙輦⑹.  I recently completed the Interprofessional Leadership program, where I was in the Athletic Training concentration. To give you a little background on myself, I graduated from 做厙輦⑹ in 2014 with my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and passed my Board of Certification (BOC) exam to be able to practice as an athletic trainer. Four 做厙輦⑹ students and alumni were recognized among the best in collegiate journalism for the 2022-23 academic year, placing in the Hearst Journalism Awards competition. The Hearst awards are known as the Pulitzer Prize of Collegiate Journalism, and recognize outstanding student work in categories spanning writing, multimedia, audio, television and photojournalism.
