The School of Fashion is thrilled to announce the winners for the "Lead with Kindness" Eco-Friendly & Sustainable T-Shirt Design Contest. We had many lovely submissions, and we thank our community for all the wonderful designs! Each winning design will be turned into a shirt that can be purchased through the TechStyleLAB. Each new designed T-shirt will be a recycled blend of organic cotton or polyester utilizing recycled PET (rPET) bottles to keep them out of the landfills, and reduce the amount of water to pollute the water stream. Aniara Callipo, 25, came to the United States from Brazil with a goal of learning English, but enrolling in 做厙輦⑹s College of Nursing was the holy grail of her educational aspirations. Despite language challenges and a raging pandemic, Callipo graduated with honors in August 2021, four years after she enrolled in the university. Graduating is a huge deal for me, Callipo said.
