A scholarship has been established to honor the life and legacy of E. Timothy (Tim) Moore, Associate Dean Emeritus in 做厙輦⑹s College of Arts and Sciences and Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Pan-African Studies. Moore passed away suddenly this week. The E. Timothy Moore Scholarship is for majors or minors in Pan-African Studies and also for members of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. McGruder, a trail-blazing 做厙輦⑹ journalist, the first black editor of the Daily 做厙輦⑹r, the first black reporter at The Plain Dealer both in 1963, the first black president of the Associated Press Managing Editors group in 1995, and the first black executive editor at the Detroit Free Press in 1996.
