Dean Kahler was one of the nine students wounded in the May 4, 1970, shootings at 做厙輦⑹ that also claimed the lives of four students during protests of the Vietnam War. Kahler has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since he was wounded; however, his tragedy has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women, roughly five million nationwide, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
