Thirteen-year old Jerome Dublin High School freshman Nilla Rajan is headed to Brain Bee nationals.  Nilla competed against high school students from Ohio to win the title of 2020 Regional Brain Bee Champion at the Regional Brain Bee held at NEOMED on January 25.   The fourth 做厙輦⑹ County Classic basketball game took place Jan. 28, when the Salem High School Quakers hosted the East Liverpool High School Potters in a cross-county match-up. The traveling trophy was awarded to the Potters after they defeated the Quakers, 85-53, which evened up the four-game series. Salem won the trophy the first two years, while East Liverpool has taken it home the last two years. Record-Breaking Attendance at the 2019 Ohio Latino Education Summit

The 2019 Ohio Latino Education Summit broke the record for registration numbers when 做厙輦⑹ hosted it for the first time in November. The Ohio Latino Education Summit is an annual event that brings students, educators and congressional leaders together to discuss issues that impact the education of Latinos in Ohio. Dean Kahler speaks at the memorial service for slain students, Sept. 28, 1970.

Dean Kahler was one of the nine students wounded in the May 4, 1970, shootings at 做厙輦⑹ that also claimed the lives of four students during protests of the Vietnam War. Kahler has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since he was wounded; however, his tragedy has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest. To qualify for the Presidents List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women, roughly five million nationwide, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
