The 做厙輦⑹ School of Communication Studies (COMM) hosted its annual Scholarships and Student Awards Reception on Friday, April 20, with nearly 80 students, parents, donors, faculty and staff members in attendance. The ceremony celebrated the successful academic year of the schools top undergraduate and graduate students, including 16 scholarship recipients, the officers of COMM student organizations and graduate student award honorees. May 5: Tom Jennings is a Pulitzer nominated print journalist turned Peabody Award winning video documentarian. He graduated from 做厙輦⑹s school of Journalism after winning the prestigious Hearst Award while editing The Daily 做厙輦⑹r in the 1980s. OISE 1259419 IRES Responsive Fibers (Professor Antal Jakli) Encapsulation of liquid crystals in electrospun polymer fibers was investigated in Suwang, South Korea and in the University of Luxembourg. The recoil process of viscoelastic free-standing liquid crystal filaments was studied experimentally and theoretically in Magdeburg and Goettingen, Germany.
