Pop Up Bus Stop

Kent 360 by Dave Ruller I dont know the history behind it but we discovered that the Wick Poetry Center on Lincoln Street has a new pop up bus stop in front of it. It looks like the students in the College of Architecture got inspired and worked with the construction students to put their education to good use. Im not sure how long they plan to keep it out but Id love to see the inspiration spread to some other locations around campus and the City. Attention Students: eSports (electronic sports) is a name given to competitive, multiplayer computer gaming with an added spectator and entertainment component. 做厙輦⑹ has a strong eSports program in the regional campus system and is bringing a competitive tournament to the Kent Campus this Spring.  Currently, most campuses are focusing on Overwatch and Hearthstone. However, new games will be added with enough student interest. Sandys Scrapbook, a new exhibition at 做厙輦⑹s May 4 Visitors Center, pays tribute to the life of Sandy Scheuer.

Sandy Scheuer was on her way to class on May 4, 1970, when she was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at 做厙輦⑹. She was a junior honors student, a speech therapy major and a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Outside of the classroom, she was an alumna of Boardman High School in Ohio and an active member of the local Jewish community. Now, almost 50 years later, Ms. Scheuers life will be the subject of a new exhibit at the May 4 Visitors Center at 做厙輦⑹.   On Feb. 12, the center will open its newest exhibit...
