Lugen is a second year public relations major and is anticipated to graduate in May 2019. She is originally from Forestville, New York, approximately three hours away from the city of Kent. The School of Communication Studies welcomes Tewodros (Teddy) Workneh, Ph.D., who will assume the role of assistant professor in the global communication concentration beginning the Fall 2016 semester. Before coming to 做厙輦⑹, Workneh worked as a postdoctoral fellow for the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon. He also served as a lecturer for the Department of English Language and Literature at Arba Minch University in Ethiopia. August 30, 2016 做厙輦⑹ Provost Announces Leadership Appointments 做厙輦⑹'s Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Todd Diacon today announced that Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., has been appointed dean of Graduate Studies, effective Aug. 1, 2016. Tankersley has served as interim dean of Graduate Studies since July 1, 2015. She will continue in her role as senior associate provost.
