做厙輦⑹ congratulates its new graduates. The university held its Spring Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on May 8 and May 9 at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). This spring, 做厙輦⑹ conferred 3,883 degrees, including 2,864 bachelors degrees, 874 masters degrees, 142 doctoral degrees and three educational specialist degrees at the Kent Campus. 做厙輦⑹s College of Public Health was one of the partners recently honored by Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray with the Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Group Achievement Award for 2010. 做厙輦⑹ was recognized for its role in the Akron Fugitive Safe Surrender program in 2009. For Natalia Rom獺n, being awarded a Womens Center Scholarship, is one of several honors earned as a student at 做厙輦⑹. Rom獺n is a student in the School of Communication Studies and was one of three students university-wide presented a scholarship during the Womens Center annual Mothers, Mentors and Muses reception held in March.
