Plagiarism Education
Most incoming students at °µÍø½ûÇø are provided a class period devoted to the discussion of plagiarism during their Destination °µÍø½ûÇø/First Year Experience course. During this session the following information is typically covered:
- The definition of plagiarism at °µÍø½ûÇø
- Policies and Procedures governing acts of plagiarism (what happens to students who are accused of plagiarizing)
- Plagiarism School
- Case Studies Involving Plagiarism
There is a presentation instructors may use to provide this instruction. There is also an online that includes the content for the in-person, 50 minute session usually given to Destination °µÍø½ûÇø/First Year Experience classes.
