Rising Scholars Helps Students Like Aireanna Tyson Dream Big

Attending �� Stark in the fall, Canton teen once questioned future.

Aireanna Tyson didn’t always see college in her future. Growing up in Canton’s inner city, she knew what it was like to feel far from the classroom — where real life could pull your focus away from school, and college felt like something for someone else.

“I wasn’t really going to classes. I wasn’t doing homework,” she said. “It hit me that if I didn’t buckle down, I wouldn’t even graduate.”

�� Stark Spring 2025 President's and Dean's Lists Announced

Congratulations, Flashes!

�� at Stark has announced the President's and Dean's Lists for Spring 2025.

President’s List requirements include a 4.00 grade point and at least 15 letter-graded credit hours completed by the end of the semester.

Dean’s List requirements include a 3.40 grade point average or higher and at least 12 letter-graded credit hours completed by the end of the semester.

�� Stark Celebrates the Class of 2025 at Commencement Ceremony

On May 10, 2025, �� at Stark proudly hosted its 52nd Spring Commencement Ceremony at the campus’s Conference Center, celebrating the academic achievements of students who earned associate and bachelor’s degrees. The event marked a pivotal milestone in the lives of 104 graduates and served as a testament to their perseverance, dedication and academic excellence.
