On Saturday, Sept. 21, the 做厙輦⑹ fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their 做厙輦⑹ days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with 做厙輦⑹ pride.

做厙輦⑹ Museum Explores the Fashion Divide of the 1960s and '70s With 'Culture/Counterculture'
Almost 50 years ago, the shootings of 做厙輦⑹ students by the Ohio National Guard brought to a head the cultural divides that had split the nation. The 做厙輦⑹ Museums exhibition, Culture/Counterculture: Fashions of the 1960s and 70s, opening Sept. 20, explores the sharp contrast between supporters of the establishment and those opposed.

做厙輦⑹s New President Todd Diacon to Serve as 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal
Last year, 做厙輦⑹ celebrated 100 years of Homecoming. This year, the university starts the next century of 做厙輦⑹ Homecoming celebrations with a new president leading the institution.

A prominent political strategist, lawyer and advocate for positive change in the political process will serve as the keynote speaker at 做厙輦⑹s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Angela Rye, principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, will join the university in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
