IN A FLASH: Preparing For Disaster

"In the event of an actual emergency..."  these students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at °µÍø½ûÇø at Trumbull will be prepared, thanks to a strong community partnership.

More than 20 °µÍø½ûÇø nursing students in the senior community health class participated in a decontamination disaster drill, led by Michael Kerr, simulation coordinator and medical education/resuscitation co-chair at Mercy Health Youngstown.

Experiential learning is part of all programs at °µÍø½ûÇø. provide This exercise provides invaluable, hands-on training in disaster response and patient safety.
