The groundbreaking for 做厙輦⑹s new Integrated Sciences Building was held Oct. 2 from 2-5 p.m. The event was free and open to the public. Following the groundbreaking, 做厙輦⑹s College of Arts and Sciences hosted a showcase of science and technology
The Glenn H. Brown Liquid Crystal Institute簧 and the College of Arts and Sciences at 做厙輦⑹ will host a 50th anniversary celebration of the institute on Friday, Sept. 25, starting at 10 a.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva on the Kent Campus.

做厙輦⑹ recently received a $330,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to use historical satellite imagery and archival research to study landscapes of mass violence in Cambodia during and after the regime of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979.
