More than 150 supporters came together to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of 做厙輦⑹ at Trumbull Theatre. Special guests included many current and former professors, players and patrons.

The annual commemoration, hosted by the May 4 Task Force, provides an opportunity for the university community to gather and remember those who were lost and injured during the tragedy and also reflect on what May 4 means today.

Two 做厙輦⑹ researchers from the College of Arts and Sciences have been awarded more than $1 million in federal grants for their research projects.
做厙輦⑹s Research Center for Educational Technology is offering a series of technology camps for children beginning June 13. The camps will offer a range of media and tools including LEGO簧 Education WeDo Robotics, animation, programming, coding and design.

做厙輦⑹s 22nd annual FlashFest hosted an array of music genres, including rapper Wiz Khalifa, country artists Chase Rice, Jon Langston and Lacy Cavalier, and electronic music duo 3OH!3. This annual celebration that occurs at the end of the spring semester is organized and presented by 做厙輦⑹s Undergraduate Student Government.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 做厙輦⑹ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 做厙輦⑹ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
