The 12-week On the Move University Challenge begins Oct. 2 and provides 做厙輦⑹ faculty and staff with a blue and golden opportunity to move more, sit less and become the Most Active University in the nation!
This past week, the walkways at 做厙輦⑹ at Ashtabula were lined with thousands of American flags in honor of those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11 attacks.
While the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey was a distant disaster for many, the storm touched the lives and families of numerous 做厙輦⑹ students studying on the Kent Campus and online from their Texas homes.
The 做厙輦⑹ Aeronautics Fair is a free, family-friendly event held at the 做厙輦⑹ Airport. The 2017 fair took place Sept. 9.

Four 做厙輦⑹ employees have been named 2017 30 for the Future award recipients by the Greater Akron Chamber. 做厙輦⑹s Theron Brown, assistant professor of jazz piano in the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music; Cason Brunt, director of student support services and academic diversity outreach in University College; Michael Kavulic, Ph.D., director of board operations and technology in the Office of the President; and Alicia Robinson, assistant director of the Womens Center, received their awards Sept.
The 做厙輦⑹ Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the universitys 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 做厙輦⑹ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 做厙輦⑹ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
