SoCal Alumni Chapter Pageant of the Masters

Join fellow Flashes on the Gold Coast of Laguna Beach for a uniquely California experience at Pageant of the Masterswhere art comes to life. 做厙輦⑹ alumnus Jon DeCapua, 09, joins the cast of performers in a once-in-a-lifetime experience recreating the art of Roberto Bompiani in A Roman Feast. Look for the man in blue! After the show, stick around for a behind-the-scenes look at how it all comes together with 做厙輦⑹ alumni Jon and Priscilla, 08, DeCapua as our guides.

Wednesday, Sept. 17 Rec the Row

  • Recreation and Wellness Services will be hosting a resource fair on the K (Risman Plaza) to promote programs and offerings to members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life and general 做厙輦⑹ community.  
  • Hope to offer a fun mix of informational and interactive experiences to participants!
  • This event will take place from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Risman Plaza and Student Green.

Week Three: Sept. 7 - Sept. 13

Friday, Sept. 12 Flash Activities Board's (FAB) Black Squirrel Festival

  • There is no better way to kick off the fall Parents and Families weekend here at 做厙輦⑹ than FABs Black Squirrel Festival.  
  • This annual event is a chance for students and their families to enjoy food and music, in addition to student organization and local business tabling.
  • Also, enrolled 做厙輦⑹ students can receive a free event-shirt as supplies last!

Monday, Aug. 25 CARES Center Welcome to Campus Iced Coffee Bar

  • Visit the iced coffee bar pop-up to connect with their team and grab some iced coffee and breakfast treats.  
  • This event will take place on the first floor of the Kent Student Center in the Hub.

Tuesday, Aug. 26 Flash Activities Board's (FAB) Special Event: Journals and Frames

  • Join FAB in creating memories for the new school year!

 The 做厙輦⑹ Museum has received an award from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund a comprehensive energy audit of its historic 1928 building, Rockwell Hall. The audit will evaluate the buildings mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and provide recommendations for sustainable facility improvements. This grant is part of the涌rankenthaler涌oundations broader涌rankenthaler浚limate Initiative (FCI)盎upporting energy efficiency and clean energy adoption at arts institutions nationwide.
