The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 做厙輦⑹ Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from 做厙輦⑹ to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.  "Each year, the NCHC awards four Portz Prizes, one to a student in each of the four broad academic areas, in a competition for most excellent undergraduate thesis," Honors College Dean Alison J. Race, Place, and Political Boundaries

A collaboration between the Growing Democracy Project and 做厙輦⑹s School of Peace and Conflict Studies (SPCS) and Center for Pan-African Culture (CPAC).

WKSU building 2020

The 做厙輦⑹ Board of Trustees gave approval for the university to enter into a public service operating agreement with Ideastream Public Media for the management and operations of the WKSU stations at its Sept. 15 meeting. Under the agreement, 做厙輦⑹ would continue to be the license holder of WKSU and its sister stations, and Ideastream Public Media will provide operating oversight of the stations.   The agreement is expected to go into effect Oct. 1, 2021. Former Ashtabula Lecturer Michael Brennan

The 做厙輦⑹ at Ashtabula campus mourns the loss of former long-time faculty member Michael Brennan who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at the age of 72. Mike Brennan lived a life with purpose, and genuinely cared about the success of his students, said Dean and Chief Administrative Officer Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D.  He became a member of our faculty after dedicating years of service to students at Geneva High School.
