The airport received a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant of $309,375 for a weather observation system reporting station and a $51,399 grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for new ground equipment. For Diamond Lauderdale, 做厙輦⑹ is not only her chosen college, it is her home. While growing up in Akron, Ohio, Ms. Lauderdales home life was challenging. She lived with her disabled father and worked two jobs to help make ends meet. Ms. Lauderdales father had been unable to walk for many years, and as she got older, her fathers condition worsened. Through it all, Ms. Lauderdale held onto a dream. She wanted to get a college education. Ms. Lauderdales father did not graduate from high school, so she understood that the hope of a college degree was an ambitious one. But...
