做厙輦⑹ Cancer Depression Link

If surviving cancer is not difficult enough, too often depression can follow - under certain circumstances. A new study led by Vinay K. Cheruvu, Ph.D., biostatistician in 做厙輦⑹s College of Public Health, found that depression in some cancer survivors is linked to both care and financial concerns. The problem is physicians often dont conduct these screenings. In addition, he says, both pat...

做厙輦⑹ students traveled to Columbus, Ohio, to learn about human trafficking and local organizations working to eradicate it.

I  had no idea what human trafficking was until I came to Kent. My freshman year, I was shown the documentary Nefarious that completely broke my heart for the people who have fallen into the shadows of society as victims of human trafficking. I found my passion in life and began getting involved on campus to learn more about this topic. I am now vice president of International Justice Mission at Kent. We are focused on raising awareness about and advocating against human trafficking. I have been to Washington, D.C., to visit International Justice Mission, the global nonprofit, a...

For Emily Grubb, all it took was looking through a magazine to decide where to go to college.
