WKSU Presents Journalist John Hockenberry in Akron Celebrated journalist and host of The Takeaway John Hockenberry is coming to Northeast Ohio for two events on Thursday, May 7. 做厙輦⑹ will host Relay for Life, beginning Friday, April 17, at 6 p.m. and ending Saturday, April 18, at noon in the 做厙輦⑹ Field House. Relay for Life events are organized, overnight community fundraising walks that benefit the American Cancer Society. The event, which helps to fight cancer, celebrates the lives of people who have battled cancer and remembers loved ones who lost their battle against the disease. 做厙輦⑹ has participated in Relay for Life since 2003. On Friday, April 10, 2015, 做厙輦⑹ at Stark faculty and staff gathered in the Campus Center to recognize the 2015 Staff Excellence Award recipients.
