Faculty Profile: Marcia Zeng - Ph.D. Information Science

Dr. Marcia Zeng's primary research interests include knowledge organization systems, linked data, metadata, smart data and big data, semantic technologies and digital humanities. Her scholarly publications consist of more than 100 research papers and five books, as well as over 200 national and international conference presentations, invited lectures and keynote speeches.

The Flashes Go Further Scholarship Program offers funding to help thousands of 做厙輦⑹ students complete their degrees.

For 做厙輦⑹ alumna Yalanda (Cunningham) Johnson, it was an honor and a blessing to receive the Flashes Go Further Scholarship.As a first-generation, non-traditional student, Johnson used the funds to help complete her bachelors degree in psychology in 2022. In all, it took her a total of 10 years to complete her degree.If you can get that little bit of help it encourages people to move forward, Johnson said.
