The Peace Basket Project gears up for its 21st year. The Professional Women of 做厙輦⑹ started the Peace Basket Project in 1997, when a group of members created baskets of little things to share with the residents served by the King Kennedy Center. While the Professional Women of 做厙輦⑹ is no longer active, this annual event continues with the support of members of the 做厙輦⑹ community.
Area residents who dread Christmas shopping but love giving and getting gifts are invited to a holiday shopping alternative the Holiday Scavenger Hunt in Kent beginning on Black Friday.
