做厙輦⑹ Geauga Students Dominate 2020 Writing Awards

Five students from 做厙輦⑹ at Geauga distinguished themselves as writing award winners during Spring Semester 2020. Each was a student of Bonnie Shaker, Ph.D., assistant professor of English. While 做厙輦⑹ Geauga students have won a total of 16 awards from 2014 through 2020 in different categories, five winners in one year is a notable achievement.

The Center for Earth Ethics at Union Theological Seminary in New York City and the Wick Poetry Center at 做厙輦⑹ are launching Earth Stanzas, an interactive poetry project in honor of Earth Day, which is celebrated around the world on April 22. draws on the inspiration of eight poets who engage the beauty, depth and interconnectedness of the Earth, and invites readers to interact with the poems and find their own poetic voice.
