做厙輦⑹ Approves 26 Named Spaces in New Crawford Hall in Recognition of $10.7 Million in Philanthropic Gifts
During its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15, the 做厙輦⑹ Board of Trustees approved naming resolutions for 17 spaces to be located in the future Crawford Hall based on philanthropic gifts of $100,000 or more. An additional nine named spaces were approved by 做厙輦⑹ President Todd Diacon that were below the required Board approval threshold.

做厙輦⑹s Brain Health Research Institute celebrated the grand opening of its new lab spaces on Friday, Nov. 5, with an afternoon of activities that included a keynote presentation, space dedication, tours and student research demonstrations. The new space, featuring interdisciplinary research facilities, is located on the lower level of the Integrated Sciences Building on the Kent Campus.
做厙輦⑹s Giving Tuesday Launches Monthlong Initiative Featuring Numerous Incentives for Supporters
做厙輦⑹, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 做厙輦⑹, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

The largest single gift in 做厙輦⑹ history, by Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new College of Business Administration building on the universitys Kent Campus.
2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced
The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 做厙輦⑹ Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.
Golden Flashes Reunite for a Bright Homecoming 2021
Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 做厙輦⑹ community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.
