Researchers Gather LGBTQ+ Stories of Resilience During the Pandemic

Molly Merryman, Ph.D., associate professor in 做厙輦⑹s School of Peace and Conflict Studies, and Lauren Vachon, assistant professor in 做厙輦⑹s LGBTQ studies program and coordinator of the LGBTQ studies minor program, were instrumental in obtaining a $35,000 grant from the U.S. Department of State for the project Resilience During the Pandemic: LGBTQ+ Stories.

STEM Professors Receive NSF ADVANCE Grant to Explore Impact of Gender and Other Factors on Workload of STEM Faculty

Who is Counted and What Counts: Tracking Womens Engagement in Low-Prestige/High-Workload Service Activities at 做厙輦⑹ will examine whether faculty members with underrepresented and/or historically excluded intersecting gender and racial/ethnic identities (IGREs) perform more high-workload, low-prestige service work than their faculty peers.
