Diane Petrella, dean of the College of the Arts is pleased to announce that Dr. Sarah Labovitz has been appointed to Director of the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music effective July 1, 2023.

After a national search, the Glauser School of Music and the College of the Arts at 做厙輦⑹ announce the appointment of Benjamin Lorenzo, D.M.A., as the next director of bands.

做厙輦⑹ School of Music to Commemorate May 4 Through Music, Dance and Poetry at Severance
The 做厙輦⑹ School of Music returns to Severance Music Center on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m. featuring nearly 300 students from across the university performing a rich lineup of genres and styles from classical and jazz to gospel and world music. It will also feature collaborations with the School of Theatre and Dance and the Wick Poetry Center.

The concert is part of the 做厙輦⑹ Glauser School of Musics annual Wind Band Conductors Symposium beginning Nov. 5 and running through Nov. 7.
