Learning to Connect

A Look Into Inter-Cultural Influence Wins Scholarship Competition
Many people consider Italy as the center of Western fashion and design. One students project, which explored the influence that African culture has on Italian design, was selected as the winner in the first-ever 做厙輦⑹ Florence Scholarship Competition this past spring (see earlier story). Students Interest in Theatre and Gender Roles Leads Them to Ancient Greece
Fourteen 做厙輦⑹ students participated in an eight-day study abroad trip to Greece sponsored by the universitys School of Theatre and Dance during the spring break in 2017. The program, described as an experience of Theatre, Performance, Gender and Sexuality, was led by faculty members Daniel做厙輦⑹ China STEM Tour
A delegation of faculty members from 做厙輦⑹ - accompanied by several staff members of the 做厙輦⑹ China Center - will be touring China to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, while also promoting 做厙輦⑹ as a preferred academic destination for Chinese students.
