A portion of 做厙輦⑹s Kent Campus has taken its place alongside the nations most significant historic locations, joining such sites as the Grand Canyon National Park, Pearl Harbor and the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. Those 17 acres represent the location of the historic做厙輦⑹ to Dedicate May 4 Site as National Historic Landmark, Host Renowned Journalist Dan Rather During 48th Annual May 4 Commemoration

做厙輦⑹ President Beverly Warren to Be Featured During Chautauquas Week on The Forgotten
Chautauqua Institution is pleased to announce 做厙輦⑹ President Beverly J. Warren will be among the featured lecturers during the institutions weeklong investigation of The Forgotten: History and Memory in the 21st Century, Aug. 11-18, 2018. President Warrens talk will focus on the做厙輦⑹s May 4 Visitors Center Focuses on Life Amid Tragedy in Sandys Scrapbook Exhibition
Sandy Scheuer was on her way to class on May 4, 1970, when she was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at 做厙輦⑹. She was a junior honors student, a speech therapy major and a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

做厙輦⑹ held its 47th annual commemoration of May 4, 1970, with events taking place May 3 and 4. The annual commemoration, hosted by the May 4 Task Force, provides an opportunity for the university community to gather and remember those who were lost and injured during the tragedy and做厙輦⑹ Marks 47th Annual May 4 Commemoration

做厙輦⑹ holds its 47th annual commemoration of May 4, 1970, with events taking place May 3 and 4. The annual commemoration is hosted by the May 4 Task Force, a student organization on campus. All of the events will be held on the universitys Kent Campus and are free and open to the public.
