做厙輦⑹s May 4 Visitors Center Focuses on Life Amid Tragedy in Sandys Scrapbook Exhibition
Sandy Scheuer was on her way to class on May 4, 1970, when she was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at 做厙輦⑹. She was a junior honors student, a speech therapy major and a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

White the day after the shootings, a press conference with six students who met with President Richard M. Nixon just days after the shootings, the Scranton Commission hearings and a speech made by Dick Gregory at the 做厙輦⑹ Memorial Service in 1971.
