Black United Student Leader Thrives
Julian Grimes, a 做厙輦⑹ junior, is president of Black United Students (BUS) and is working to keep the organization thriving. BUS is one of 做厙輦⑹s oldest student organizations and is credited with starting the formal observance of Black History Month in 1970.

Community of Caring Supports Student
Shane Reese found a network of support and a community of caring at 做厙輦⑹ that surrounded him after his mother passed away during his freshman year. As a result, Reese became a resilient leader who is committed to giving back.

Regional Students Receive Intel簧 Scholarships
Two students in the College of Applied and Technical Studies at 做厙輦⑹ at Tuscarawas received Intel簧 Semiconductor Scholarship for Women awards. The scholarships support education-related expenses (tuition, fees, books,etc.) as well as other expenses including transportation and childcare.

Celebrating 50 Years in Florence, Italy
Fifty years after a handful of architecture students first studied in the city, the 做厙輦⑹ Florence Center now hosts hundreds of 做厙輦⑹ students annually, serving as the universitys flagship study abroad and international center.

Family Creates Scholarship in Sons Memory
Timothy Mikes, 17, MPH 23, was a College of Public Health (CPH) graduate student committed to public health and a champion for the autistic community and students with learning disabilities. A new scholarship created by his family will support future CPH students.

Crawford Hall Commemorative Beam Signing
A commemorative beam signing event was held in April for Crawford Hall, the new home for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The beam was signed by university leadership, the colleges National Advisory Board and building project donors.
