UTC Teaching Awards
The University Teaching Council offers two opportunities to recognize the amazing instructors we have at °µÍø½ûÇø:
Outstanding Teaching Award
The Outstanding Teaching Award (OTA) is the highest teaching award accorded to non tenure-track and part-time faculty at °µÍø½ûÇø. The award recognizes three °µÍø½ûÇø faculty members annually and parallels the Distinguished Teaching Awards sponsored by the Kent Alumni Association.
Faculty & Instructor Recognition
Students are encouraged to nominate their instructors for an Instructor Recognition Award. These awards are an opportunity to highlight all °µÍø½ûÇø instructors who have been motivated, engaged, and inspired their students. Nominees will receive a certificate of recognition at the annual UTC Conference.
