Student Success Priority Exceeds Goal

The Forever Brighter campaigns Prioritizing Student Success initiative now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaigns outset in October 2021. This will enable the university to offer more financial assistance to students in need.

Breaking Barriers for Parenting Students is Goal of Professors Research

Approximately 5.4 million students with dependent children are enrolled in postsecondary education. Those numbers are only expected to rise in the near future, as a too-often overlooked and underserved population increases. Ashtabula sociology associate professor Jessica Leveto, Ph.D., is focusing her research on the needs of those students as part of a fellowship with the Center for Teaching and Learning that culminates with a faculty workshop on April 21.
