The Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series: Bobby Sanabria

Seven-time Grammy nominee Bobby Sanabria, a legendary drummer, composer and cultural ambassador of Latin jazz, will bring his dynamic energy and expertise to °µÍø½ûÇø this October as part of the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series.

Join us in Ludwig Recital Hall for a Big Band Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, A reception will follow the performance.

This concert is free and open to the public.

Have you already toured the May 4 Visitors Center, but want to know more? Here’s your chance to experience the Center in a completely new way! Engage with May 4 Visitors Center staff and special guests for a thematic tour of the Center and National Historic Site.

September's tour theme is Photography and May 4. From Gordon Parks and Danny Lyon, to Howard Ruffner and John Filo, the May 4 Visitors Center is full of powerful photographs. Explore photography in the Center with a critical eye, guided by Visitors Center staff.

The Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series: Paul Tazewell

Oscar, Tony and Emmy Award-winning costume designer Paul Tazewell will return to campus for a public dialogue and student engagement opportunities. Tazewell will take part in a public conversation moderated by °µÍø½ûÇø School of Fashion alumna Aleah Wright.

Common Ground: Yoga for Peaceful Reflection

Join us on the KSU Commons for a group yoga flow. Held on the hallowed ground of the National Historic Landmark Site that inspires peacefulness and reflection, this 40-minute session, led by a certified instructor from the SRWC, will focus on themes of kindness, compassion, and fostering an inner connection to peace.

This beginner-friendly program is free and open to all students, staff, and faculty.

Bring water and a yoga mat or towel if possible. We will have equipment on site, but the quantity will be limited.

FAB's Picnic with a Purpose: Mamma Mia Edition

Do you enjoy watching movies on the student green, eating free food, and giving back to the community? Then you'd love this event! FAB is partnering with °µÍø½ûÇø Civic Community to bring you an event that is both good for the heart and the soul. Starting at 6:00, we will have 100 free °µÍø½ûÇø towels up for grabs! After you grab your towel and eat some greek and american inspired food, head on over to the "K" to do some service projects! If you're able to complete all the service projects, you will be entered to win a Nintendo Switch!
