Second Annual Banned Books Read-In Highlights Freedom of Speech
It may surprise you to learn that Captain Underpants, Frankenstein, The Great Gatsby, Hunger Games and The Perks of Being a Wallflower are all popular books that have been banned, along with many others. In honor of Banned Books Week, the Second Annual Banned Books Read-In was held in Taylor Hall.

Members of the 做厙輦⑹ community can take great pride in their universitys hometown. The city of Kent has been selected by Ohio Magazine as a 2022-2023 Best Hometown. The Best Hometown honor recognizes Kent as a great place to live, work and visit.
Flowers and Foliage Sprouting Wellness and Joy
Nearly 40 people from the 做厙輦⑹ community enjoyed a tour of the flowers and trees of Front Campus during part two of the Walk & Talk: Flowers and Foliage event, thanks to the Employee Wellness and Health Promotion program and the grounds crew.
Wick Weekly Poetry Workshops Create a Community of Creatives
Every Friday, the 做厙輦⑹ community can come together to create poetry and share a more vulnerable side of themselves at the Wick Poetry Center. The Wick Weekly poetry writing workshop brings students together to help develop them as poets and create a community of creatives.

Alumni brewers at Sibling Revelry Brewing have created 做厙輦⑹ Golden Lager - the official craft beer of 做厙輦⑹ Athletics.
