The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of °µÍø½ûÇø Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature °µÍø½ûÇø Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration Erica Eckert, Ph.D., as this year’s selected speaker.

Williams was inspired by the May 4 events to write and produce a play "The Sugar Ridge Rag."
