Museum Receives Grant for Historic Building Energy Audit
The °µÍø½ûÇø Museum has received an award from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund a comprehensive energy audit of its historic 1928 building, Rockwell Hall. The audit will evaluate the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and provide recommendations for sustainable facility improvements.

°µÍø½ûÇø Board of Trustees Approves Establishing Aeronautics and Engineering Schools
The °µÍø½ûÇø Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the Kent Campus.

°µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s Crawford Hall Earns LEED Silver Certification
An innovative design, energy-efficient systems, water conservation technologies and environmentally responsible construction materials are some of the features that earned Crawford Hall, °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s newest – and largest – academic building, LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Providing and maintaining a sustainable, bee-friendly environment has earned °µÍø½ûÇø a Bee Campus USA certification. Our healthy on-campus pollinators not only help the environment but also provide opportunities for learning and community engagement.

Donate Unwanted Items During Move Out
During move-out, students sometimes trash clothes and boxes of food. Throw ‘N’ Go, °µÍø½ûÇø's annual move-out program, is currently underway to keep those useable items out of landfills and in the hands of people who need them.
