Alumna Roe Green to Receive Honorary °µÍø½ûÇø Doctoral Degree
The °µÍø½ûÇø Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA ’80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.

°µÍø½ûÇø Soundly Surpasses Fundraising Goal for Student Scholarship Support Within Its Comprehensive Campaign
°µÍø½ûÇø will be equipped to offer more financial assistance to students in need thanks to donors to a key area of the university’s ongoing comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Forever Brighter campaign includes a scholarship-support component, Prioritizing Student Success, that now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaign’s outset in October 2021.

Marvin L. Logan Jr., ’15
Marvin L. Logan Jr., ’15, knew at 13 years old that he wanted to run a nonprofit that would change lives and make communities stronger. As a °µÍø½ûÇø student, he developed his leadership skills as president of Undergraduate Student Government and Black United Students, competed as a student-athlete and honed his storytelling craft through student media. Seven years after graduating, he’s living his childhood dream and inspiring other children to dream big as well.

°µÍø½ûÇø Celebrates Its Newest Graduates With Fall Commencement Ceremonies
The °µÍø½ûÇø alumni family grew by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university held its fall Commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2022 were recognized with in-person ceremonies for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17.

°µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s Giving Tuesday Campaign Raises $3.6 Million for Scholarships and Programs
This November, members of the °µÍø½ûÇø community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s eight-campus system.
