做厙輦⑹ supporters once again joined together during the universitys Giving Tuesday campaign to raise more than $2.8 million to support a variety of student scholarships and programs.
The Beginning Was the End: Devo in Ohio
New Wave 80s band Devo isnt just from Ohio. Devo wasnt just created in Akron. Devo was forged at 做厙輦⑹ under the pressure of the turmoil of the late 60s and the events surrounding May 4, 1970. Authors David Giffels and Jade Dellinger brought their book The Beginning Was the End: Devo in Ohio to 做厙輦⑹ for a book signing and discussion.
做厙輦⑹ Recognizes Alumni During Homecoming Weekend
做厙輦⑹ recognizes alumni who, through leadership, character and hard work, are making a difference. During Homecoming Weekend, 10 Golden Flashes were presented with Alumni Awards, and nine alumni received Lifetime Achievement recognitions from the universitys Black Alumni Chapter.

The streets of Kent, Ohio, will be filled with blue and gold as 做厙輦⑹ alumni, students, parents, employees and community members gather for this years Homecoming, with a full slate of events Oct. 20-21.

做厙輦⑹ leadership and donors known as the Renaissance Scholars Society will gather to commemorate 50 years of education abroad in Florence, Italy, during the first week of October.
The 做厙輦⑹ Alumni Association Announces New Members For Its National Board of Directors
The following new members have been appointed to the 做厙輦⑹ Alumni Association National Board of Directors for a three-year term, which began July 1: Jeff Guritza, of Brecksville, Ohio, is the vice president of marketing at SOPREMA USA. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from 做厙輦⑹ in 1994.
Summer Commencement Ceremonies Celebrate Newest Graduates
The 做厙輦⑹ alumni family grew by nearly 1,200 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2023 were recognized with outdoor commencement ceremonies on Aug. 19.
New Lake Erie College President Is a 做厙輦⑹ Alumna
做厙輦⑹ alumna Jennifer N. Schuller has been named president of Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. She is the first woman to lead the institution in 75 years.
